So too colleagues who are preparing submissions for the 2024 SAMA National Conference.

Projects for your portfolio for 2024: The overview of existing governance and policy within SAMA and enhancement of certain aspects thereof in consultation with SAMA Excom.
Call for contributions for Samantics 2024 by 31 March
Members are invited to submit contributions for the first issue of Samantics for 2024. We are looking for: Opinion pieces on museum practice no longer than 1000 words. Preference will be given to articles written in an easy-to-read style with associated visuals. Contributions for the Get to Know our Museums column – two or three paragraphs with general information on a museum, or telling us about a new project/programme or exhibition Contributions for a new column: Get to Know our Collections and Archives – two to three paragraphs on an object(s) of interest. Please submit visuals as high-resolution jpg or pdf files. We cannot use photos/images inserted in a MS Word document or use low-resolution images distributed via WhatsApp (WhatsApp condenses photographs automatically to use less data). Contributions can be sent to samasamantics@gmail.com by 31 March 2024.
